1. What are cookies (and cousins)?🍪
A cookie is a tiny text file that a website stores on your computer or phone. It remembers things like what’s in your basket or which pages you visited. We also use close relatives, pixels, SDKs and local storage, for email opens, app analytics and ad measurement. For simplicity we call them all “cookies” here.

4. How to control your cookies
Our Cookie Preference Centre – open it anytime via the footer to switch analytics or marketing cookies on/off.
Browser settings – block or delete all cookies by default (see www.allaboutcookies.org).
Private / Incognito mode – nothing is stored after you close the window.
Google Analytics opt-out – global add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Email pixels – set your email client to “block remote images.”
We honour your choices immediately. If you clear cookies we’ll ask again, because we have no way to remember a choice that no longer exists.
5. Third-party transfers
Some analytics and ad partners (Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok) process data outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens, we rely on UK Addendum-backed Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary safeguards such as IP-anonymisation.
6. Data retention
Cookie data is kept only for as long as shown in the table or the Preference Centre. Aggregated analytics are stored up to 25 months for year-on-year reporting, after which they are permanently anonymised.
7. Changes to this policy
If we add a new purpose or partner, we will update this page and refresh the consent banner. The “Last updated” date will always tell you what version you’re reading.
